Steve Kennedy is the owner of Somewhere In America LLC. An experienced graphic and web site designer, Steve offers strong technical knowledge that you don't often find in graphic designers, and expressive creativity that is usually lacking from web developers. This allows for design that works both creatively and technically in web sites and other media.

Kennedy’s early career began at EcoGroup, creating print and direct mail programs for utilities including Tennessee Valley Authority, Pacific Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison and others. He then joined SHR Perceptual Management, a branding and design firm in Scottsdale, Arizona specializing in the visual translation of client strategy. Steve led a group of production artists on GMC showroom brochures before transitioning to interactive design including web design and multimedia presentations for SHR and clients. While there, he also worked on projects for Kodak, GMC Truck, Ford, General Mills, ADC (Dow), Boyden, First Penn Pacific and Boeing.

Steve has a mix of formal education and professional experience to deliver results for companies who need agency expertise without the ad agency price tag. His professionalism and strong work ethic mixed with a little humor makes him very easy to work with.  He greatly enjoys graphic design and taking on new challenges and this is reflected in his work and attitude. Steve has a BFA degree in Graphic Design from Ohio University and has gained over 18 years of experience in the ever-evolving graphic design arena.

Tamara has had a diverse background. She began her professional career as an Air Force Security Forces Officer. Following her military service, Tamara worked in human resources for a non-profit organization. After taking some time off to be a stay-at-home mom, she now works with SIA developing web site content, writing copy and handling web site management.

Tamara has a B.S. in Communication and a B.A. in Sociology from Ohio University, and a Masters of Education from The University of Oklahoma.
